Each year, children eagerly await the arrival of Santa Claus. But the true story of Santa Claus begins with Nicholas, who was born during the third century. After losing his parents, Nicholas sold everything to help those who were less fortunate, especially  children.

St. Nicholas' feast day is December 6th and it is widely celebrated in Europe with small gifts of chocolate and candies.

St. Nicholas will be visiting from 2 pm to 3 pm both Saturday and Sunday.

Children are invited to Saint Nicholas' workshop to help create gifts for their family members as well as ornaments for their Christmas Tree.

Children will also have the opportunity to shop for small gifts and trinkets for Christmas.

Everything in the workshop is priced at a toonie or less.

We will be showing three movies* over the course of the weekend. They include:

  • Nicholas: The Boy Who Became Santa

  • Go Look in the Manger

  • Jésus est né

These 20 to 30 minute movies will be screened in the Don Bosco Room. The movies and the popcorn are FREE.

*Movies are subject to change.
